Hi everyone! My fav season is here and what a better way to celebrate this than a blog make-over. Starting next week you will notice some changes around here...thought i give you a little heads up! I've been posting a lot of photos lately that were more about the photography than about my own style and i really don't want to have you confused. So it's only fair that i will label those from now as 'inspiration' and my outfits posts will go under 'personal style'. I will also have a guest to blog about hot items and where to find them...it will a new take on fashion as she has a different style.I'm sure you'll love her! And that's not all :D

Back from Mamaia FashionTV Summer Festival! It was an interesting experience as i got the opportunity to meet new people and be backstage for 3 days. Well, one thing's for sure: it's a crazy place to be :))
On Saturday we had Adriana Agostini's show, for whom i work now. In these pictures i am wearing 2 of the dresses and accessories that were presented as part of her collection.
Didn't have the time to take any photos during the events, but i'll tell you more about what happened there as soon as i get my hands on some pictures :D

Oh, and one other thing: i have to learn Italian! Add that to my long "to do" list :))

Bloggers get together and Diva Hair

As i mentioned before, i was invited at a fashion bloggers event organized by Diva Hair in collaboration with the online shop Margotte . Besides the great time and actually having the chance to meet face-to-face with 5 of my fellow bloggers and the people behind Diva Hair, this was actually a competition. What was all about? Well, two outfits which had to include pieces from Margotte's collections, each styled to match our own personal style. So here it goes:
My first outfit consisted in a black dress (had initially a little pretty collar) which as you can see, i wore as a blouse, too. This could be something that i wear at a girl's night out or something.

For the second one i went for a more casual look, something that i would wear everyday. Loved the shirt, btw.

Ok, guess i'm officially back..again:)) oh ... i'm such a bad blogger :|
anyways, i'm quite happy right now because i finally managed to get some days to clear my head and paint a bit...on canvas this time. I've started 3 painting which hopefully will be ready by the end of this week.Hopefully.
Tomorrow i will have a meeting with the people who work for Diva Hair, a fashion community. And have my pictures taken for an outfit contest. But more of that to come in the next days. I'll may be begging for votes, too:)) Until then...my first photoshoot in this month, can't believe it's been that long :|

First of all,missed you so much! I know i've been taking very long breaks but i won't give up blogging no matter what! After all, sometimes getting feedback is the most interesting and rewarding part!
Well, since we've last talked...school is over(!) and i've starting working for a fashion designer :) i'm so excited about this since i get to do what i like most:painting and photos:)) This is actually the first dress that i painted and can't wait to see what you think. As you probably already know, i am a b&w addict and i'm not looking for any treatment yet :D For me it captures the essence of a photograph(composition and expression) without getting lost in all the details.
I know that this is supposed to be a styling blog and the outfit's color has an important role...so far i haven't received any complaints from you and that's maybe because most of you also see the outfit on chictopia where i usually post a full color pic, too...but as far as the rest of you...i would really like to know what you think. After all, it wouldn't be a blog without it's readers for whom i am truly grateful! :)

First of all, i want to share something with you: i've been accepted by Teen Vogue's Fashion Click ! So excited!

ok, so here are the facts:

1.right now my career is my focus so i spend all my energy at the university where i study to become a painter. the funny thing is that i started painting like a year ago and had no idea i want to pursue this. i liked photography before that, but it seemed such a dead end...anyway, here i am...planning on majoring in photography as well...will see about that next year at admissions !

2.and since this is a fashion blog, have another confession: i decided to change my sporty style( or no style at all) just before i turned 18. i wanted a big change and that was all that i could think of :))

3.ever since i started blogging on chictopia and now on my blog, a lot of people asked me whether or not i am a model: well, i'm not a professional model( but thank you so much for thinking of this).i had this opportunity when i was 16 and got a few jobs but when i had to sign a contract in order to pursue this career i turned it down: i wasn't confident enough to do this and... i wanted to graduate first... But now i have to admit, i would like this but unfortunately i'm not as thin as a model should. So i guess i just have myself to model for:))

4.i love heels! i'm like crying in stores when i see a pair of shoes that i like but i know that wearing them will be impossible as i don't live in a more fashionable city and wearing them would make the center of attention..in a bad way:( plus, i'm 5'9.5 :))

5.i only watch episodes from my fav shows while riding the stationary bike ...helps with the motivation:))

6.used to be bullied in school because of my height/thin frame...but i've come to embrace it gradually...

7. i'm a very emotional person.i used to cry from anything....but i learned to control it...still am:)

shorts in the cold season:it's a "yes"!

I get this question a lot during cold season: "why do you wear shorts, aren't you cold?"
I have to admit, sometimes it is a bit chilly indeed, but you can overcome this by wearing the right clothes. Layering is a great choice! Plus, cover up those areas through which you lose body heat, like your hands! Leather gloves are a very chic practical accessory! And don't forget about hats! I'm not personally a big fan but even i wear them when it is too cold.
As for coats, choose one that is just above the knee or if you go for a shorter one, like a leather jacket(as i'm wearing in one previous post) you should consider wearing a bit longer knitted cardigan, just enough to cover up your lower back in case you reach up ,lean forward or just seat down. It may seam stupid but it means a lot not only for your comfort but also for your health !
And finally , wear some thick tights! Knit wool tights are great, too!
All this can compensate the fact that you're wearing short pants or a skirt.
One question remains: "why go through all this trouble?" Well, first of all i think they're more feminine! While we don't live in that period of time when women wore only skirts/dresses, it doesn't mean we should forget the fact that a woman does look better dressed like that! I would love to do this more often, but sometimes we need something that can meet our demands in aspects like comfort, versatility and femininity.

i know i've been absent for a while and i am so sorry! university has taken up all of my time! but i found a solution: i've finally managed to make my own mini photostudio and from now i will try to shoot as many outfits as i can on sundays... since it's my only free day:))

Having to walk a lot today, these boots proved to be the right choice! can't describe how comfortable they are...plus they work with everything! Almost made me forgot the fact that i love love heels but i am a bit too tall to wear them:(

For this one i made a dress...from plastic bags! ..and ask a good friend to pe my photographer.Trust me, it wasn't an easy task, but i ended up being quite pleased with the result. So sorry for the absence! I've been very busy studying for the entrance examination at the Bucharest University of Arts. I've always been interested in art but it wasn't until this winter that i discovered my passion for painting and it is certainly something that i want to learn more about! Still waiting for the results , i'll find out more on Monday. Keep you posted!

so glad that rompers are in these days, that means you can actually find them in stores…still pretty difficult here but at least i have a shot:)) i’ve been thinking about how great they are for over a year and finally i get to wear them:D
this one is a bit larger than it should be, the salesperson even asked if i was buying it for myself…welll, yes i am…i happen to like the flowy look of it! haha:)) plus, i had to have it, the fabric is amazing!

if i was complaining about chilly weather, i changed my mind :| these days have been a torture and there’s more to come…i couldn’t even take a decent picture because of the sun and i’ll have to apologize for that!

here’s another dress that i made. it’s very simple but after all, that’s what i like about it:)
i know i may be wearing those gladiators a bit often, but i just like to pair them with dresses as they give a bit o edge to the outfit. boots would be a very good idea too, but i’m already turning enough heads in this city :| :|
