| A sketch and textures as starting point |
This collection started with the idea of making something that can come across as 'wearable art'. It will consist primarily of a number of evening gowns that feature a lot of the techniques used in couture , hand painted and not only, and available for custom orders. I also pay special attention to fitting and materials used, all to ensure a high quality garment.
I want my clothes to come across as sophisticated yet simple. Coco Chanel comes to mind now, and she said it right: “Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman.”
